Transportation will depart from the Kimpton Las Mercedes Hotel promptly at 3:45 PM to bring guests to the ceremony venue. Please be ready and on time, as we want everyone to arrive comfortably before the ceremony begins.
We kindly ask that you plan accordingly, as transportation will leave as scheduled.
We cannot wait to celebrate this special moment with you as we officially begin our next chapter surrounded by the people we love most.

WHERE SHOULD I STAY?
Since we are having a 2 part wedding. 1st in Santo Domingo then 2nd in La Romana, we have provided the locations we encourage you to stay at.
WHEN SHOULD WE ARRIVE?
We encourage everyone to arrive Wednesday, January 13th for our welcome party. If you can arrive the 12th even better, but completely optional.

YES! Please arrive at the main entrance of the Kimpton. Timing will be confirmed leading up to the big day!

We kindly ask that our wedding celebration remains adult-only.

WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN DOMINICAN REPUBLIC?
January in the Dominican Republic is typically warm and sunny, with temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to mid-80s °F.
WHAT CURRENCY IS BEING USED?
The Dominican Peso (DOP) is the local currency, though U.S. dollars are widely accepted in many places.
DO I NEED TO SPEAK SPANISH?
Not at all! Many people in tourist areas speak English, and everyone is incredibly welcoming.
PART 2 CELEBRATION: DREAMS LA ROMANA
DO I HAVE TO STAY AT THE RESORT PORTION OF THE CELEBRATION?
Not at all! While we'd love for you to join us in La Romana, attendance is completely optional. If you want to extend your stay at Santo Domingo, you can absolutely do that though we will miss you for our part 2!
WHAT ARE THE DATES FOR PART 2?
January 15th we will be checking out of Kimpton hotel and making our way to the all-inclusive portion! We have a room block until the 18th, however some may leave on the 17th.
IS THE BOAT PARTY MANDATORY?
NOT AT ALL! The all-inclusive portion of our celebration is mainly to have our guests enjoy their time in the beautiful Dominican republic! The boat party optional, though, you may not want to miss this :)
